Paths start from the matching tab in the app. A question that isn’t here? Write to us.
Share the wedding with your partner
- Make sure you are both signed in to iCloud (iPhone Settings → your name).
- In Ouii: Settings → Your partner → Invite your partner, then send the invitation by Messages, WhatsApp or email.
- Your partner installs Ouii and opens the invitation on their iPhone. The wedding opens, and whatever either of you changes shows up on both sides.
No account, no password: just iCloud. If your partner had already started a wedding on their iPhone, it is replaced on that iPhone by yours (Ouii asks first).
To stop: Settings → Stop sharing (your partner loses access, the wedding stays with you) or, on your partner’s side, Leave this wedding.
Ouii Pro: buy, restore
Ouii is free for up to 30 guests, 2 tables and 20 images. Ouii Pro unlocks everything (unlimited guests, tables and images, every theme, automatic seating and room drawing) in one purchase, with no subscription: Settings → Upgrade to Ouii Pro.
- For both of you: one purchase is enough; your partner gets it in the shared wedding.
- Restore (new iPhone, reinstall): Settings → Upgrade to Ouii Pro → Restore a purchase, with the same Apple Account used to buy.
- Family Sharing is on: members of your Apple family group get it too.
- Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Reminders and notifications
Ouii reminds you of dated to-dos and upcoming payments. Reminders are scheduled on the iPhone itself. In a to-do, tap Remind me and pick a time.
Nothing arrives? Notifications may be off: iPhone Settings → Notifications → Ouii → Allow Notifications. Each iPhone has its own reminders: your partner sets theirs.
Online RSVP for your guests
- Guests → Online replies → Turn on online replies.
- Each household has its own link: tap Send and choose Messages, WhatsApp or email.
- Guests reply for each person and each moment, choose their meal, can mention a diet and leave a note. Pull the list down to fetch new replies.
A link opens only its own household. To stop everything: Stop and erase everything from the server — links stop working, replies already received stay in the app. What goes through the server is detailed in the privacy policy.
Export and print
- Addresses for envelopes (CSV) and diets and meals for the caterer (PDF): Guests → Export.
- Seating plan for the caterer (PDF): Guests → Seating plan → Share.
- Schedule for the day (PDF): Home → the big day → Share as PDF.
- Ideas board: Ideas → Share.
Changing iPhone
Your wedding is in iCloud: sign in with the same Apple Account on the new iPhone, install Ouii, and it comes back. Remember to restore Ouii Pro (see above).
Erasing your data
- One item (guest, household, to-do, expense, image): open it and tap Delete.
- Online RSVP: Guests → Online replies → Stop and erase everything from the server. Otherwise, the server erases it on its own after 12 months without activity.
- Leaving a shared wedding: Settings → Leave this wedding (it is erased from this iPhone and stays with your partner).
- The whole wedding: delete the app, then erase its iCloud data in iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Ouii → Delete Data. If your wedding is shared, stop sharing first.
We have no access to your iCloud: we can neither see nor erase your wedding for you. To erase an online RSVP page you can no longer reach from the app, write to us.
